9th Korkyra Baroque Festival 2020

The Korkyra Baroque Festival was established in 2012 in order to promote local and international music and cultural heritage. Superb concert evenings and Korčula’s impressive culture monuments create a unique synergy and the Korkyra Baroque Festival has gained the reputation of a must-attend event on the global music scene.

The Ninth Korkyra Baroque Festival will take place from 3rd September to 13th September 2020. Due to corona pandemic and restricting measures imposed to all the cultural gatherings, we will only be able to present part of the planned Festival featuring Croatian artists. Our residential Croatian Baroque Ensemble, led by the Festival’s artistic director, violinist Laura Vadjon will be featuring three different programmes, Early Delight presenting english masters, Trio Eusebius marking the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven, Pavao Mašić performing The Goldberg variations and a surprise for the end, Ante Gelo, Borna Šercar and Iva Ilakovac presenting a unique crossover programme.
