WORLD CULINARY COUNCIL 2024

21 of the world’s most forward-thinking chefs, including our own chef Marko Gajski, who proudly serves as the chef of the delegation, come together yearly to explore innovative and sustainable approaches to gastronomy.

Led by the Relais & Châteaux President, Laurent Gardinier, and the Vice-President, Chefs, Mauro Colagreco, the World Culinary Council held its annual meeting in Grand Hôtel du Lac, Relais & Châteaux at Vevey, Switzerland, on 6-8 October. Coming together as representatives of a community of more than 500 chefs all over the world, these esteemed culinary personalities renewed their commitment to driving sustainable change in gastronomy. Together, they debated and explored topics such as biodiversity, marine conservation, the culinary trends of tomorrow, and more.

With Chef Stéphane Décotterd as their guide, the World Culinary Council dined at La Maison Décotterd, also discovered the Swiss terroir and its sustainability challenges, and enjoyed once-in-a-lifetime culinary experiences, including at the Relais & Châteaux Le Restaurant de l'Hôtel de Ville de Crissier.
