ST MICHAEL'S CHURCH
This church on the square in front of the town hall was mentioned very early in documents. It got its present Baroque appearance in the 17th - 18th centuries. The main Baroque marble altar has a painting of the Virgin of Consolation by the 18th century Venetian artist Domenico Maggiotti. Built into the north wall is an exquisitely carved Renaissance pulpit. The other altars and items in the church are primarily of cultural and historical meaning. At the beginning of the 19th century the Neoclassical chapel of Our Lady of Consolation was added, and her wooden statue was brought from Venice at the time.
Right next to the church, there is a stone stairway which leads to the hall of local church fraternity ‘Mihovilci’ aka Bratovština Blažene djevice Marije od utjehe , established in 1603.
